Design a retail box for horse treats? How could we say neigh to that. We started with the product, which is two 5 lb disks made of compressed distillers grains. Online orders don't need the retail box, so we first designed a round label that goes under the shrink wrap packaging. We also designed a mini-brochure explaining the product and listing other SweetPro horse products. Then we created a retail box that uses the colors and imagery from the recently launched web site, with a little rope accent for a western feel. For easier carrying, we added a heavy duty plastic handle. We think that horse owners will be happy to pony up for this very nice treat in this nice box. Think of it as a 5 lb horse d'oeuvre. |
