We launched Daigle Design in 1987 after many years of working in the graphic design and advertising fields in cities including Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Honolulu and Reno/Tahoe.
In 1991 during the boom days of software and coffee, we moved Daigle Design to Seattle. The company was consistently ranked as one of the top graphic design firms in the Pacific Northwest. Our team of super talented designers produced award winning projects in identity, web, print, display, packaging and advertising, for a wide range of clients.
After 30 years in Seattle, once all the employees had left the nest, we moved Daigle Design to Florida. A cliché? Perhaps. But we found a cool 1880s college town in Central Florida that's an artistic oasis. DeLand has become an inspiring place to serve our existing and new clients. It's a whole new adventure in design.
From the top left corner of America, to the lower right corner, we have always loved the challenge of fun new design projects.
Candace trained at Minneapolis College of Art and Design – MCAD. Her early career was as a graphic designer for ad agencies in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Honolulu and Reno/Tahoe.
She co-created Daigle Design in 1987 in Reno, while working with clients including Porsche, Bloomfield and Wells. Two things helped Candace and Geoff decide to leave the Sierras. A love of the ocean, and a love of coffee. Turned out, Seattle had plenty of both. So for the next 30 years the Pacific Northwest was home for Daigle Design.
Design has always been a passion for Candace, even since high school days. Her love for design encompasses all aspects of visuals, from the freshest color trends, to innovative print layouts, new web technologies, eye catching ads and memorable branding. Even architecture and interior design are fair game in her quest to make the world a cooler place.
If they ever hold tryouts for Design Queen, Candace will be in the running.
Geoff graduated from UCLA with an undergrad BSc and then a graduate MSc degree. He took early retirement at Hawaii's Mauna Kea Beach Hotel as a scuba and sailing instructor, and later a USCG licensed catamaran captain. Geoff ran Hawaiian Divers, established the Kona Recompression Facility, and was a Marine Advisory Council member and NOAA/NMFS grant recipient on the Big Island before he hung up his fins and joined his first ad agency in Kona as a copywriter and account executive in 1980.
(Editor's Note: Geoff doesn't look like this anymore.)
He co-founded Via, an ergonomic office chair manufacturing company in Honolulu in 1984. As VP, he managed marketing, product design, manufacturing, distribution and advertising. In 1987 he co-founded Daigle Design wiith his wife Candace. Geoff started the House Donation Group in 2015, a 501(c)3 non-profit organizatiion to support housing charities in Puget Sound, and continues today as its Executive Director.
Throughout his ad and design career, Geoff has focused on copywriting and account management. His business experience and science background gives him a quick-study approach to learning each client's specific business. Plus the insight to bring features from other industries into the current project for solid results.
If there's ever an award given for "Fewest Words Needed", Geoff would be nominated. A "Summarizer-In-Chief", if you will.
