Bremerton has long been a major U.S. Navy base, as its protected waters offer safe harbor for boats of all sizes. The Port of Bremerton has made significant improvements to the recreational boating facilities of its Bremerton marina, as well as the neighboring Port Orchard marina. Working cooperatively, these two renovated recreational boat marinas offer excellent amenities for pleasure boats of all sizes.
